Joe Sharp

Joe Sharp, 75, of Rockton, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Joe was born to Cloyce and Janet Sharp on October 23, 1949, in Rockford. He graduated from East High School, and furthered his education by attending Rock Valley College, and graduating from the University of Illinois. Joe retired from Liebovich Custom Fabricating Company as an estimator.

Joe was kind, loving, and accepting. He was a man of few words, unless there was a hot rod in front of him. He was always available to go to a car show. He also had a special interest in karate as a sixth dan, which led him to meet his wife, Candee. They were married on March 25, 2004, in Rockford. Joe loved to spend time and spoil his fur-babies, Daphne, Aurora, and MJ.

Joe is survived by his wife of 21 years, Candee; children, Corrine Sharp, Dan (Kate) Sharp, Melissa (Dennis) Seydel, Abbey (Tory) Bond, and adopted son, Jesse Gray; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; brothers, Kerry (Wendy) Sharp, and Scott (Julia) Sharp; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his children, Michael Sharp, Joie Sharp, and Brandy Rodden; parents, Cloyce and Janet.

Celebration of Life will be on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at 11 AM at the Holiday Inn Express, 3022 Ford Street, Beloit, WI 53511.
