John and Audrey Albright

John Harvey Albright 79, of Flippin, AR., died May 20, 2017, joining him in eternal life, his wife of 60 years, Audrey Jill Albright 78, of Flippin, AR. died June 12, 2017. John was born June 20, 1937 in Ashland WI. to John and Otillia (Regner) Albright. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in Vietnam and retiring with 22 years of Air Force military service. John made a career with Winnebago County, first as an assessor and retiring as an auxiliary deputy sheriff. John enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and woodworking.

Audrey was born February 3, 1939 in Rushden,England to George and Florence (Cave) Britchford. She worked at Woodward Governor and enjoyed bird watching and gardening.

Both are survived by children, Dennis Albright, Teresa Nason, Darlene Soto, Kathleen Hanaver; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.

John is survived by brother, Lee Albright. Preceded by parents; brothers, Paul, Howard, Tom; sisters , Darlene and Doris.

Audrey is survived by sisters, Maureen, Jill, and Brenda. Preceded by parents; brother, Peter; sisters, May and June.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Machesney Park, Il. Visitation: 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
