Judith K. Gugliemetti, 79, of Rockford, IL passed away peacefully, Monday morning, March 1, 2022 at River Bluff Care Center. She was born April 3, 1942 in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Ford and Marie (Zeller) Lindquist. Judith married the love of her life, Don Gugliemetti, on October 21, 1961 in Rockford. She was a faithful member of Alpine Lutheran Church, where she served on the Altar Guild and was a church greeter with Don. Judith was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed traveling with Don and had a vast collection of bears, baskets and cast iron cookware.
Judith is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Don; sons, Craig (Carol) Gugliemetti and Brian Gugliemetti; grandchildren, Austin and Alyssa; step-grandchildren, Amanda and Daniel; sister, Sheila Lindquist; niece, Noel Lindquist; nephews, Jeff Lindquist, Andy Lindquist, Jason Evans and Chris Evans. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Dennis Lindquist and nephew Todd Lindquist.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of River Bluff Care Center and Northern Illinois Hospice for their compassionate care of Judith.
A private graveside service will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
