Katherine L. Carter

Katherine L. Carter, 91, of Machesney Park, Il. was welcomed into heaven on Friday, December 8, 2017. Born February 21, 1926 in Austin, MN. To William and Florence (Osbourne) Coyle. In a life well celebrated Katherine married George Carter in 1945 and together raised their four children. He preceded her in 2003.

Katherine was a homemaker most of her life and made a career of taking care of her family. She worked at General Electric for 15 years. She was a former member of St. Edwards and a current active member of St. Bridgets Church. She was eternally grateful for the Eucharistic Ministers who brought her communion on Sunday’s this was so important to her. Katherine life could be summarized with, “she was a kind loving, caring woman who never said a bad word about anyone.”

Survivors: children, Randy (Bonnie) Carter, George (Teri) Carter, Darla Triplett, Cheryl Di Fede; many loving grand and great- grandchildren. Predeceased by parents; husband,sons-in-law, Stephen Triplett, John J. Di Fede; grandson, Francis Eugene Triplett; brother, William Coyle; sisters, Mary Thorn, Elizabeth McFarland.
