Kathi Ann McBain

Kathi Ann (Jentoft) McBain was born on July 24, 1958, to Dorothy Jean and Richard Carl Jentoft in Duluth, Minnesota. She married her true love, Randy McBain, on June 30, 2012, at Abbey Springs, in Lake Geneva. A dream come true ceremony, with her daughters and grandsons by her side. She died on July 15, 2015.

Kathi worked for the school district of Rockford for 16 years. Her proudest accomplishment was that of being mother to Jenny and Emily and Mimi to Conner and Evan. Kathi died being surrounded and cared for lovingly by her family.

Kathi is survived by her husband, Randy McBain; her daughters, Jenny (Eric) Kluznik and Emily (Shane) Dunaway; grandsons, Conner and Evan Dunaway; mother, Dorothy Jentoft; sister, Vicki (Glen) Jentoft-Johnson; nephews and niece, Grant (Barb Mork) Jentoft-Johnson, Megan (Chris) Griffith, and Tyler Jentoft-Johnson; great nieces, Pressley and Marley Griffith; stepsons, Joel McBain and Jordan (Annetta Weatherford) McBain; grandson, Jayden McBain; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many many friends.

She was predeceased by her father, Richard Jentoft; and her niece, Jessica Jentoft-Johnson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. July 25, 2015, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 749 Bluff St., Beloit, WI. Memorial visitation 11:30 a.m. until the time of service.
