Keith E. Miller

Keith was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He married Carol Murray and together raised their three children. She preceded him in death in 1992. He dedicated 49 years to Dixon Automatic Tool before retiring in 1998. In 2000, he married Roseann Kisting. Keith was an outdoors man and he shared his love of nature with his family; camping at Lakeland Campground in WI. He enjoyed hiking and fishing. His children played in the Phantom Regiment and he volunteered his time driving the bus. Keith was a member of the YMCA Men’s Garden Club; he loved gardening and showcasing his flowers. He volunteered for years at Swedish American Hospital. He looked forward to the drives to Arizona with his 36 foot fifth- wheel in tow.

Survivors: wife, Roseann; children Keith (Theresa) Miller, Julie Cloyd (predeceased by Randall) and Kevin Miller and their mother, deceased, Carol Miller; grandchildren; Jesse (Janette) Miller, Mindy (Jason) Isabel, Stacey (Wade) Krug, Aaron Melissa Cloyd,Thomas Cloyd, Megan (Mike) Miller, Kelsey Miller; 8, great-grandchildren; Roseann’s children, Gary (Diane) Kisting, Lori (Tom) Gass and David (Mary) Kistling; grandchildren, Robert, Erik, Meridith and Adriane, who all adored him. Predeceased by parents; wife, Carol; brother, Robert Miller.

Funeral Service: 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30,with food and fellowship to follow at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Machesney Park, IL.
