Kyle R. Gillingham, 57, died Friday, February 17, 2017. Kyle spent most of his life in the company of friends and caregivers at Milestone. He participated in the Special Olympics and other activities. His favorite treat was Baskin Robins ice-cream. Kyle was always comforted by the touch of his mom’s hand and she felt rewarded by the expression of love and pure joy on his face.
Kyle was born January 9, 1960 in Rockford, IL. to Robert and Lenora (Daubert) Gillingham.
Survivors: mother, Lenora Clinite; sister Karen Melton; special nieces and nephew, Katie and Lindsey Melton and Eric Gillingham; stepsisters, Christine (Gary) Krom, Barbara (Robert) Behn; stepbrothers, Thomas, David (Janet), Douglas (Kathleen) Clinite. Predeceased by father, Robert and stepfather, Rodney Clinite; brother, Keith Gillingham; niece, Dana Gillingham.
