Lewis K. Davis, 86, of Rockford, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024. Lewis was born in Steele, Missouri to Lewis and Thelma Davis on September 3, 1937. He was raised in Caruthersville, Missouri. Lewis married the love of his life Mary Ann (Lanning), who preceded him in death in 2016.
He is survived by his children, Michael Davis and Kathy Davis; grandchildren, Jessica (Jeff) Holden, Josh, Ginger Nicole (Josh) Grahm, Patrick, Katelynn, Tyler (Sara); great-grandchildren, Ryan, Dennis, Cheyenne, Natalie, Dane, Nicholas, Ian; great-great-grandson, Remey; sisters, Jana Pool and Harriatt Rose; godsons, Keith, Haydan, Forrast, Connor, and Jimmy; daughter-in-law, Joanna; special cousin, Patricia Lindell; godsons, Keith and Forrest.
Predeceased by son, Ricky; daughter-in-law, Melissa Davis; son-in-law, Tim Page.
A visitation for Lewis will take place Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 10:00 AM until time of mass at 11:00 AM at Cathedral of Saint Peter, 1243 North Church Street, Rockford, IL 61103.
