LuAnn married Gordon D. Forster on July 20, 1973. LuAnn and Gordy were devoted life partners and never gave up on each other or the family. Even death could not separate them for more than a few weeks.
LuAnn worked at Behr Recycling and Rockford Public Schools as a paraprofessional and secretary. Her preferred role, however, was being mom and grandma. LuAnn enjoyed sewing and anything that had to do with snowmen. She was a talented baker who created memorable wedding cakes. Visiting the trailer in Woodhaven was a favorite pastime. Most of all, she cherished any time spent with her grandkids, family and friends. LuAnn‘s love, laughter and loyalty will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
Survived by children, Kimberly (Bill) Alsup, and Kelly Forster; son by marriage, Mitch (Barb) Forster; grandchildren, Brenden and Karysa Alsup, Trenton and Teaghan Forster, Alissa and Jaisen Browning; grandchildren by marriage, Joshua (Valerie) Forster, Nicholas Forster; sisters, Rhonda Liebgott, Jodi Naugle, Lynn (Carl) Morris and Dawn Nelson; sister-in-law, Rita Leasure; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gordy Forster, and her parents.
