Lucretia "Lou" P. Vogt

Lou was born October 18, 1926 in Ventura, CA, the daughter of Jose and Juanita (Saucedo) Morales. Married James R. Vogt, July 13, 1947 at the Mission San Buenaventura, Ventura, CA. Members of St. Edward Catholic Church, Rockford, member of Senior Club St. Edward’s Ladies Guild, Charity Guild, of St. Elizabeth, Rosary Makers, Retired Senior Volunteer Program, and Catholic Women’s League.

Lou is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; siblings, Sr. Mary Carmelita, Joseph, Anthony, and John Morales, Frances Hernandez, and Helen Ramirez; sons-in-law, Gary Kammerer and John Pope.

Survived by her daughters, Juanita Vogt, Theresa Pope, Cecilia Carter, and Dorothea (Raymond) Barger of Rockford; grandchildren, Steven Kammerer, Chicago, Theresa and Helen Carter, Rockford, Eric Barger, Elyssa (Collin) Baulch, Okinawa, Japan; great -grandchildren, Nicholas, Johnathan, Anthony, and Carlee Carter all of Rockford, Devyn Barger and Declan Baulch of Okinawa, Japan; several, nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m on Wednesday, March 8, at St. Edward Catholic Church 3004 11th St. Rockford, with Fr. Keith Romke, and Fr. Ken Wasilewski officiating.
