Marcia L Spiess

Marcia L. Spiess, 90, of Belvidere, IL, passed away peacefully, Tuesday December 8, 2020 at OSF St. Anthony’s Hospital. She was born April 5, 1930 in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Ivan and Gertrude (Hildreth) Agnew. Marcia married Ramon Spiess in 1948. She was an office manager for many years at Canfield Clinic and then with Dr. Jerome Weiskopf. Marcia was a faithful member of St. James Catholic Church in Belvidere. She enjoyed crossword puzzles. Marcia was known for having a sweet tooth, especially chocolate. Most of all, she was a devoted mother to her boys.

Marcia is loved and missed by her children, Jeff (Janet) Spiess and Randy Spiess; grandchildren, Elton and Shayla Spiess and Christopher Spiess; 6 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ramon, and sister Edith Bosley.
