Marian was born in Polk, WI on January 27, 1933 the daughter of Carl Alfred and Julia (Fredrickson) Johnson. She married Ronald Boken on September 5, 1978 and he preceded her in death on March 24, 2005. Marian loved collecting Beanie Babies and was of the Lutheran Faith.
Marian is survived by her step-children John Boken and Glenn Davis; sisters-in-laws Marion Harris, Carol Boken and Gloria Boken; brother-in-law Don L. Gugliuzza and numerous nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Marian’s life will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday September 15, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N. Alpine Road in Machesney Park with visitation one hour before services on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
