Marlene J. Nicoson

Marlene J. Nicoson, age 85, of Roscoe, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. She was born in De Soto, Wisconsin on July 18, 1937 to Beauford and Ethel Inman. During her high school years she stopped attending school to help on the farm and help care for her siblings. She proudly went back to school to receive her GED. In 1957 she married Danny L. Nicoson and they raised two sons together. She was a strong woman, having survived cancer and been in remission for over 20 years. She was always thinking of her family and they were the most important thing in the world to her. She was a member at Riverside Community Church in Machesney Park, IL. Marlene is survived by her sons, Scott Nicoson and Danny A. (Denise) Nicoson; grandchildren, Jason Nicoson, Mark Nicoson, Dustin Thies, Nicholas (Natalie) Thies, Michelle (Jason) Nicoson and Jordyn (Dylan) Nicoson; great grandchildren, Trenton (Makayla) Nicoson, Sebastian Thies, Evelyn Thies, Jayden Koestler, Jaxon Koestler, Quinn Lambert, Amelia Nicoson, Gracelyn Nicoson, Nolan Lambert and Linkyn Lambert.; great great grandchildren, Trinity Nicoson and Emberly Nicoson; siblings; Lorraine Inman Dahl, Beverly Inman, Richard Inman, Robert Inman, June Inman Larson, Larry Inman, Berneta Inman Ridlon, Judith Inman Hansen, and Jerry Inman Sr; and many other friends and family who adored her.
