Mary J. Swanson, 92, of Loves Park, IL peacefully passed away on Saturday March 7, 2026. Mary lived in the Rockford area her whole life. She and her husband Arnold owned area businesses including Tru-Line Engineering & the Tu-Dor Lounge. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed showing off all the beautiful flowers she grew. Mostly she truly & absolutely loved her family. Being a wife, mother, grandmother & great grandma was her biggest joy. She lived to celebrate the holidays. She is predeceased by her mother and father Loretta and Arthur Kliefoth sisters Peggy and LaVaire & her beloved husband Arnie. She is survived by daughter Laura Swanson Reilly, granddaughter Allison (Reilly) Cancel, her husband Eddie Cancel, great grandchildren Jadaan (Roser), Penelope, Chloe and Oliver Cancel as well as grandson Declan Reilly, his wife Dawn Reilly and great grandchildren Lyra, Levi and Zane Reilly as well as Brian Swanson & Cheryl (Swanson) Nelson.
