Nathel E. Bland

She married Thurman Bland on January 20, 1947 and was a stay at home mom and worked at Ideal Uniforms.

Nathel enjoyed making quilts, sewing, cooking, gardening, puzzle books and especially flowers.

She is survived by her children, Sherry (Steven) Marley, Glenda (Norman) Trenholm, Brenda (Berry) Holligan, Janet Balayti, and Rita (Mickie) Pruitt; grandchildren, Lisa McCaig, Keith Marley, Chris Trenholm, Michael Marley, Jeremy Bland, Brian Pruitt, Shaun Fisher, Tyler Fisher, Sheena Sommerfield; and great grandchildren, Austin Marley, Nick Marley, Kennedy Marley, Brandon Pruitt, Madison Pruitt, Henry McCaig, Angel McCaig, Thomas McCaig, Sierra Trenholm, Ariah Trenholm, Selena Trenholm, Crystal Harri, MacKenzie Sommerfield,Skyler Fisher, Mason Fisher and Zion Fisher. She is also survived by siblings; Glenna Johnson, Faye Mitchell, Bonnie Curtwright, Floy Cozart, Linda Cozart, Cletis Cozart; and son in law, Earl Fisher.

Nathel is preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Bland; parents, Ervin and Ella Cozart; son, William Nathan Bland and daughter, Vickie Fisher.

Funeral service will be at 11am, Monday, January 20, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park, Illinois. Pastor Jonathan Byrd will be officiating. Visitation will be from 10am to the time of service. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
