Norma Jean Schick, age 80, of Maquoketa, Iowa passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Norma was born in Clinton, IA on May 19, 1942 to Paul and Isabelle Bickford. Attended Sterling High School and went on to work at Clinton Electronics and as a CNA in the Dubuque, IA area. Norma enjoyed country music, wrestling, and NASCAR Racing.
Norma is survived by her sons, William (Stacey) Schick, Christopher (Sue) Schick, and Steven (Tina) Schick; grandchildren, Christina, Xena, Raiya, Jacob, Kyra, Sylvia, Christian, Sasha, Dylan, and Cheyanne; 8 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Isabelle Bickford; daughter, Elizabeth Schick; sister, Ann Margaret Geesey.
A Celebration of Life Gathering for Norma will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 1pm to 2pm at Sunset Funeral Home (8800 N. Alpine Road, Macheseny Park, IL 61115). Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family.
