

Norman Paul Fibrow, age 76, of Machesney Park, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 with his wife and three daughters by his side. He was born July 22, 1949 to Herman and Neva (Spraggins) Fibrow in Rockford, Illinois. Norman worked for over 30 years as an electrician at Sundstrand, finally retiring in 2015. He married the love of his life, Lynda Poulter, on January 22, 1972. He was very proud of his service in the Army.
Norman enjoyed working on cars and his yard, he liked having a nicely manicured lawn. He also liked to ride motorcycles and enjoyed pontoon rides on the river. He was a huge New England Patriots fan and loved watching NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt. Most of all, Norman loved spending time with his many great friends and family.
Norman is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lynda Fibrow; children, Jill (Randy) Hecker, Lindsey (Kristopher) Koeser, and Dana (Scott) Stichter; grandchildren, Mila Hecker, Mason Hecker, Ella Kinison, Mikki Stichter, Meghan Kriebs, and Lily Stichter; great-grandchild, Lennon Kriebs; siblings, Dewayne (Carole) Fibrow and Chris (Dave) Kohlhagen; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Neva Fibrow.
