PAUL ROSENBERG ROCKFORD - Paul Rosenberg, born Nov.7, 1923, and a decorated Navy World War II veteran, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 4, 2012, in his home in Big Pine Key, Fla. Survived by his loving wife, Donita DeWitt Rosenberg and sister, Gloria Schaller. Predeceased by parents, Frank and Elsie Rosenberg, brother, Marvin; and brother-in-law, "Mendy" Schaller. Service at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 17, in the chapel at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Machesney Park, with visitation from 9 a.m. to time of service. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Paul's honor to his beloved Vineyard Community Church, 100 County Road, Big Pine Key, FL 33043.
