Robbin L. Snodgrass

Robbin L. Snodgrass, 61, of Machesney Park, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 after a brief illness. She was born on December 16, 1961 in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of Robert and Barbara (Davis) Pilcher. She was a graduate of Harlem High School class of 1979 and a graduate of Rock Valley College and Judson University. Married Rick A. Snodgrass on April 23, 1983 in Machesney Park, Illinois. Employed by Rock Valley College, Rockford Rescue Mission and the Village of Machesney Park. She fulfilled her dream of becoming the Clerk of Machesney Park which she loved. Member of First Free Church Rockford where she was involved in the choir and youth group. She enjoyed playing bunco with her "bunco babes." Her passions were reading and most of all spending time with her loving family. Robbin loved her grandchildren dearly and enjoyed cheering on their soccer games. She also enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys with her husband and loved to wear scarves. Robbin also enjoyed trying different cuisine with her son and loved going to different restaurants with her family.

Survivors left to cherish her memory are husband, Rick Snodgrass; children, Rachel (Benjamin) Berg, Ryan Snodgrass; grandchildren, Anna and Cameron and one on the way; parents; Robert and Barbara Pilcher; siblings, Sherri Nelson, Robert (Mary Beth) Pilcher, Jr.; brother-in-law, Gregory Thompson and numerous friends and extended family. Predeceased by sister, Darla Thompson; father and mother-in-law, Glade and Marie Snodgrass; brother-in-law, Glade Snodgrass, Jr.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 3:00 PM in Sunset Funeral Home, 8801 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park, with a visitation from 1:00 PM until time of service. Private inurnment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Robbin's name to the Rockford Rescue Mission.
