Robert J Kearns, 68, of Rockford, departed his earthly life on Saturday, September 3. He was born on July 6, 1943 in Oregon, IL, the son of John and Jennie Kearns. He attended schools in Oregon and Rockford. He was employed at Bishop Buffet and later at Stockholm Inn. He married Janet Liebovich on August 28, 1990. Robert was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. He enjoyed bowling, and watching the Cubs and Bears. He is survived by his wife Janet and numerous cousins.
