Roger Leigh Bilderback

Roger was a graduate of Cassville High School class of 1962.

He went on to marry the love of his life Elizabeth Rasmussen on March 14, 1997.

Roger worked at Gunite from 1965 to 1985. He opened his own business, Bilderback’s Auto Parts and Sales which he ran from 1977 to the present.

Roger had a passion for racing, enjoyed playing slot machines, but was happiest when spending time with his family whom he loved so dearly.

He will be truly missed.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Bilderback; children, Ricky, Bobbi Jo, and Candie Bilderback; grandchildren, Ashlee, Nikyla, Scott, Roxy, and Michael; great-grand-children, Brandon Jr., and Zailah; brothers, Ken (Glee), Spencer (Wanda), and Tim (Donna) Bilderback, sisters, Darlene Clauer, Roxanne (Gene) Boyes, Pam (Bernie) Fecht, and Linda (Dave) Johnson; special friends, Dave Wastak, Jay Yurs, Jake Miller, Stephen Hedlund, and Brian Johnson Jr.

Predeceased by his parents; brother, Gary Bilderback; brother-in-laws, Jim Clauer, and Doran “Junior” Kartman.

Visitation 1-5 p.m. Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park. A final lap will be taken at Rockford Speedway at 5:30 p.m. followed by a celebration of life at 6 p.m. at Forest Hills Lodge 1601 W. Lane Rd, Loves Park.
