Ruby C. Bell

Ruby C. Bell, 102 of Rockford went to be with the Lord on May 26, 2014. Born November 11, 1911 in Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mima (Looney) Drane. She was married to Orville Bell.

Known for her great cooking and gardening, Ruby was loved by those who came in contact with her.

Survivors include her sons, Lonnie (Betty), Leslie David (Shirley), and Benny (Donna) Bell; daughters, Artie Bynum, Geraldine (Marion) Pond, Shirley (James) Butcher, Eva (Joe) Hamblock, and Barbara Burrow; son in law, Bill Pyles; brother, Gene (Golda) Drane; sisters Martha (Curt) Butcher, and Laura Sullivan; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by daughters, Karen Bell, Linda Pyles, and Virginia Leroux.

The family would like to give special thanks to the Eagle Unit at River Bluff Nursing Home, for the love and care given to their mother.
