Sandra Valene Nagler

Rockton, IL: Sandra Valene Nagler 77, passed away at home on December 26, 2015. Sandra was born on February 14, 1938 to Clifford A. and Dorothy I. Nunn. Sandra graduated from Craig Sr. High in Janesville, Wisconsin in 1956. After high school she lived in Janesville, Wisconsin for 38 years before moving to Rockton IL,. She married Thomas S. Nagler September 1976 and later sealed for Time and Eternity in the Salt Lake City LDS temple. Sandra worked as a legal secretary for Mickey Mcdermott for 25 years as well as working for Avon on the side. She was a member of the Women of the Moose in Janesville, Wisconsin, where she served in many capacities, and as Senior Regent. Sandra was also a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints.Sandra is survived by her daughter, Deneen Ann Nunn of Salt Lake City Utah. Her brothers, Edward (Gloria) Nunn of Janesville, Wisconsin, and Larry (Marsha) Nunn of California. As well as, numerous nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and on Tuesday the 29th her beloved cat Thom Kat. Sandra’s family would like to offer a special thanks to Mary Annette Gonyer, and Diana Kirkpatrick, for their friendship and support. The elders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will be officiating at the funeral service. Services January 2, 10:00am at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 North Alpine Machesney Park IL.
