

Sandra was born in Fountain Head, Tennessee to Ethel (Glover) and Charles Culbreath. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend. After a long, courageous battle with Lymphosarcoma and facing every day with a love for the Lord, a positive attitude, dignity, and grace, she left us peacefully in her daughter's home.
Sandra was employed at Warner Lambert for over 30 years where she met and cherished many friendships.
Her favorite thing was the holidays when family and friends gathered all under one roof. She loved having her family together. Her favorite hobbies were fishing and camping. She had a soft spot for all animals.
Sandra is survived by her two brothers, Charles "Chuck" and Kenneth Culbreath; her children, Darryl Vereecken, Tanya Thompson, and Shelly Vereecken-Lawhon; seven grandchildren, Robert Vereecken, Shanna Jackson, Chelsea Vereecken, Jacob Vereecken, Evan Spedding, Breana Pegues, and Karly Vereecken; three great-grandchildren, Jayden, Anthony, and Judah; and special friend, Joe Cox.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Vereecken; three brothers, Ricky, Steve, and Donnie Culbreath; and three sisters, Jeanette (Charles) King, Loretta (Glen) Anderson, and Mary (Joe) Dillard.
She will be missed by many but what she left behind were values, lessons,comfort, laughter, and above all, her love.
A visitation will be held for Sandra on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N Alpine Rd., with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM. Entombment to follow.
