

Sherman O. Crenshaw, 79 formerly of Loves Park passed away on October 25, 2013. Born on September 26, 1934 in Hot Springs, AR, he was the son of Theodore and Ruth (Wiley) Crenshaw. He married Vivian Olszewski on October 16, 1954 in Rockford.
A Union Carpenter and owner of Crenshaw Family Amusements, Sherman enjoyed wood working, traveling with his wife, and making families happy through his carnival and concessions.
He is survived by his children, Patricia (Craig) Verni and Mark (Michelle) Crenshaw; brother and sister in law, Herbert and Ruth Crenshaw; grandchildren, Johnny (Kellie), Joseph Crenshaw, Nicole (Chris) Pearson, Austin Crenshaw, Dustin Verni, Brittney Crenshaw, Robert Pettigrew, Donyelle Bennett, Derek (Amanda), and Melissa Flock; eight great grandchildren; daughters in law, Sharon and Aleta Crenshaw; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Sherman was predeceased by his parents, wife, Vivian Crenshaw; children, John and Sherman Crenshaw; grandson, Cobey Crenshaw; and daughter in law, Darlene Diehl-Crenshaw.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Craig Rogers, and the nurses/staff of River Bluff Nursing Home.
