Sheryl F. Jackson

She was born on February 7, 1954 in Rockford, IL, to Vernon and Frances (Jeffery) McNinch and was the 3rd born of 5 children.

She married Denver Jackson on August 12, 1988 in Rockford, IL.

Sheryl spent her time as a “domestic engineer”, perfecting her recipe for her home-canned dill pickles, crocheting and playing word games. Her ability to win a scratch off lottery ticket, a hand of cards or a game of dice was impressive and one of her most admirable traits was her sense of humor. Her comedic, one of a kind personality was unforgettable and she could always make you laugh.

Sheryl is survived by her husband Denver Jackson; Stepchildren, Denise (Dave) Zellers, Dana Jackson, Leslie (Keith McClish) Jackson, Christopher (Laurie) Jackson and Kelly (Andre DeLeu) Miller; 10 Grandchildren; 17 Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Patrick (Lorna) McNinch; Sister, Teia Rafferty; Nephew, Patrick (Christina) McNinch; Nieces, Mandy McNinch, Doneal (Ben) Schafman and Cassie (John Chandler) Rafferty. She was predeceased by her parents and two Brothers, Walter and Neal.
