Tina M. Larson

Tina Marie Larson, 52, of Rockford passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Born July 29, 1964 in Rockford. Daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Gille) Jennings. Married Steven Larson on September 26, 1986 in Rockford. Tina found great enjoyment as a School Bus Aide for special needs children for the Harlem School District. She enjoyed taking care of her kids as she called them.

At home she could be found outside in her vegetable and flowers gardens. She was always there for her mother and together they shared weekly pizza dates. Together with Steve she enjoyed going to country music concerts and having dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Tina was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Steve; daughter Lisa (Jeff Sowl) Larson; mother, Catherine Jamison; siblings, Elnora Jennings, Joseph (Vicki) Jennings, Mary (Gary Irwin) Cotton, William (Kim) Jamison, Wesley (Mallory Hay) Jamison; special aunts, Barbara Gille and Annette Church; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father, Joseph Jennings; step-father, Leon Jamison; sister, Debbie Pearson; brother-in-law, Curtis Releford.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 3 at 2 pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park.
