Tony Frazier

Carl Anthony “Tony” Frazier, 51, of La Porte, IN, passed away from a sudden illness, Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in La Porte, IN. He was born June 9, 1970 in Rockford, IL, the son of Richard and Kay (Thomas) Rieff. Tony graduated from Guilford High School, class of 1989. He was employed as a project manager for Flaherty Contruction. Tony was a master at grilling and smoking meats. His soul was guided by music. Tony enjoyed fishing and boating. He had a bigger than life personality with a laugh that would vibrate the walls. Tony never met a stranger and was very giving and generous of himself. Most of all, Tony adored his children and his family. Tony is loved and missed by his mother, Kay Rieff; children, Alex Frazier and Garrett Frazier; fur child, Roxie; girlfriend, Samantha Irk; siblings, Nick Rieff, Ray Frazier, Maureen (Matt) Gulatto, Neil (Paula) Rieff and Jay (Charlotte) Frazier; nieces and nephews, Elliot Rieff, Taylor (Jon) Walker, Morgan Frazier, Anthony Gulatto, Jay Frazier and Kiya Frazier; great-nephew, J.D. Walker; and aunt, Barb (Michael) Neville. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Rieff and his maternal grandparents. A memorial visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL 61115 with a memorial service to begin at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Steve Rios officiating.
