Tyson Beasley, 78, of Rockford, Illinois, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026. Tyson was born March 28, 1947, in Macon, Mississippi to Willie and Katie Beasley. On July 17, 1971, Tyson married Lula French. Tyson was employed with Sundstrand for over 30 years as an Aerospace Mechanic prior to retirement. He was a member of United Faith Baptist Church.
He is survived by his son, Telly Beasley; daughter, Tammie Beasley; grandchildren, Taijah Holloway, Kira Beasley, Kaylie Beasley, Lukas Beasley, Koolyst Beasley; siblings, Minnie Lark, Edna Beasley, Willie Mae Francis, Willie (Patricia) Beasley Jr., Lester (Loretta) Beasley, Eddie Beasley, Katie Beasley, Nancy Beasley, Clara Beasley-Brown, and Michael (Yvonne) Beasley; godsister, Carolyn Richardson; godchildren, Janice Burks, William Ross, Eliberal Chisholm, Leterrion Smith, Sheldon Jack, and Darien Williams.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lula; grandson, Te’lyl Beasley; parents, Willie and Katie; brothers, Tommie Beasley and Charlie Beasley; sisters, Arma Jean Beasley and Pearline Beasley.
