Vincent Joseph Miceli

Vincent Joseph Miceli, 90, of Rockford, passed away on May 14, 2021 at St. Anthony’s Hospital. Born on December 23, 1930 in Alia, Sicily, the son of Anthony and Rosalia Miceli. Vince immigrated to Rockford in 1958. He married Rose Saladino on June 2, 1962. Vince worked many years at Warner Lambert and retired at the age of 63. He was an avid gardener and spent the summer months outside in his garden.

Vince was blessed with a large, loving family. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Rose Miceli; son Anthony (Michelle) Miceli; daughter Rosalie (Vince) Torcolese. Grandchildren: Anthony and Nicholas Miceli, Peter and Tanina Torcolese. Dedicated and supportive siblings: Luciano and Vincenza (deceased) Miceli, Anna Marie and Carl (deceased) Caruana. Sister-In-Law Jessie and Jack (deceased) Canale, as well as a niece and numerous nephews. Predeceased by his parents, sister Concetta and Biagio DiPasquale; sister-in-law Carmela and Saverio Colletti; brother-in-law Joseph and Sandra Saladino.

Due to the COVID-19 situation, a private funeral mass for immediate family will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 20, 2021 at St. Anthony Padua Church, 1010 Ferguson Street in Rockford, IL 61102. Entombment following in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
