

Virginia E. Lindblom, 85, of Tarpon Springs, FL, passed away June 1, 2025. She was born on September 7, 1939, in Belvidere, Illinois, the daughter of Harry S. and Elizabeth A. Martin. Virginia married her high school sweetheart, David R. Lindblom, on May 2nd, 1958, at Belvidere Evangelical Covenant Church. She took on the role of being a dedicated mother to her children, David and Kristine. Virginia worked at Bell Telephone as a switchboard operator and later in life, she worked at Rockford Honda as a receptionist. Virginia spent most of her life in the Machesney Park area, but also lived in Scottsdale, AZ and Tarpon Springs, FL. Virginia was an avid flower gardener and enjoyed reading books, doing jigsaw puzzles, and was a competitive player when it came to playing board and card games.
Virginia is survived by her son David (Kim) Lindblom and daughter Kristine (Bradley) Reed, and grandchildren: Jerod (Nicole) Lindblom, Greg (Liz) Lindblom, Becky (Dave) Audette, Steven Lindblom, Brian (Wendy) Lindblom, Josh Lundholm, Elizabeth Lundholm, and 12 great-grandchildren, sisters Marie Hansen and Carol (Don) Hildebrand, sisters-in-law Marge Martin and Elaine Martin. Virginia will be greatly missed by those who loved her most and will forever be in our hearts.
Virginia is preceded in death by husband David, parents Harry and Elizabeth, brothers Harry Martin and Ronald Martin, and brother-in-law Dean Hansen.
