

Angela B. Rowland, 76, passed away Monday, May 11, 2015 at a local hospital. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street with burial in Riverside Cemetery, North Gate. The Rev. Phil Anderson will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rowland, wife of the late J. C. Rowland, was born in Fort Benning the daughter of the late Rev. Joseph Herman and Mamie Adelle Hoyle Bishop. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Mercer University and was an Administrative Assistant retired from the Medical Center of Central Georgia after twenty-six years. Mrs. Rowland was a member of Northway Church. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
Survivors include those she loved most, her children, Margie (Jim) Denney, Kathy (John) Leone, Michelle (Keith) White; beloved grandchildren, Jaime, Paige, James, Brooke, Hope, J.C., Joseph, Ashley, Matthew, Abagail, Kaleb, Jordan, Daniel, Hannah, Noah, John-Luke, Jaron and Emma; eighteen great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Howard, brother, Jimmy (Patty) Bishop; several nieces and nephews.
