MACON-Anne W. Johnson, 79, passed away Sunday at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Family will greet friends on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue. Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to: Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Macon to the late Louise Campbell Watson and Gussie Watson. She was retired after 38 years where she worked as secretary of the superintendant of Norfolf-Southern Railroad. She was a member of Disciples of Christ Saint Andrew, Eastern Star Chapter 345, AARP and the Railroad Clerks Union. She was a graduate from A.L. Miller High School.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband: Joe Bennie Johnson of Macon; one son: Jeff Goings of Atlanta; two Grandchildren: Tiffany Beining and Jeffery.W. Goings, Jr.; two Great-Grandchildren: Natasha Beining and Marley Goings; one Brother and Sister-in-law: Billy and Carolyn Watson of Macon; Several Nieces and Nephews; Daughter-in-law: Sandra A. Goings of McDonough, GA
