
Betty June C. Holloway, 81, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014 at a local hospital. A memorial celebration of her life will be held at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum. Her children C. Jeff Holloway and Esterine H. Stokes will officiate. The family will meet friends from 2:30 p.m. to service time on Wednesday at Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Mrs. Holloway, daughter of the late William T. and Mabel Collier, was a lifelong resident of Macon. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Maxine Smith and Blanche Lodge. Mrs. Holloway was of the Baptist Faith and had worked at Malone Finance Co. and retired as nutritionist with Bibb County Board of Education. She was a devoted homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Survivors include her husband of fifty-four years, Calvin Coolidge Holloway and her children, C. Jeff (Martha) Holloway, Pamela (Bill) Maddox, J. Keith (Leah) Holloway, Terry (Betty) Holloway, Esterine H. (Danny) Stokes and Trudy (Dennis) Skidmore; her beloved grandchildren Jessica (Jimbo) Hatcher, Brooke Holloway, J. Jason Arnett, April (Travis) Reeves, M. Shane Stokes, Kaitlyn Skidmore and several great grandchildren.
