Brenda retired in 2024 as owner of Midstate Title Associates, after forty years in the real estate title business. She will be remembered as a radiant and unstoppable force of nature, filled with energy, positivity, and adventure. Brenda never walked into a room without lighting it up with her upbeat spirit. She was the colleague who turned every ordinary moment into something exciting, who faced life with a stoic work ethic, determination and grace, and who stood firmly on what mattered.
Whether at the gym or desk or on a new adventure, Brenda embraced every challenge with enthusiasm, never letting negativity linger. She was glowing, inspiring, and always ready to uplift those around her.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Gil H. English and two children, Jeremy J. Harmon (Becky) and Sarah H. McEvers (Beau). She delighted in her grandsons, Jackson and Alex Harmon and Arthur McEvers and adored every moment with them.
Her sisters, Gail (Jimmy) Rawlins, Jackie (Larry) Burdge and Donna Ussery will forever cherish her laughter, her adventurous spirit, and her unwavering kindness.
Brenda’s legacy reminds her nieces and nephews – Cole, Courtney, Chris, Connie, Carlie, Caylin Rawlins; Tiffany, Wes, Slaton and Zannah Herndon; Ashley Slaton; Dair and Xiaoye Massey; Erin Rountree - to live boldly, to be positive, and to always bring light to others.
She will be dearly missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire us all. Pastor Brandon Anderton will lead a Celebration of Life to be held Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, 1419 Bass Road, Macon, Georgia, with visitation following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory will be gratefully welcomed by New Beginnings Recovery Home for Women, 2291 Claxton Dairy Road, Dublin, GA 31021
