

MACON – Brenda Mayo French McGlon, 68, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2010. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street with the Rev. Mark Hudgins officiating. Burial will be private. The family will meet friends following the service.
Mrs. McGlon, daughter of the late Wayne Herman Mayo, Sr. and Gertrude Chambley Mayo, was born in Macon and was a 1961 graduate of Miller High School. She was in accounts receivable retiring from the Bibb Company. Mrs. McGlon was formerly a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and was currently a member of Ingleside Baptist Church. She was an avid sports fan and a loyal grandparent supporter of the Stratford Eagles. Brenda was a generous lady who was beautiful, gracious, sweet and inspiring. She always had a smile to share and would bring a smile to your face in return.
A loving and giving wife, mother and grandmother, she will be missed by her husband, Clifton Eugene McGlon of Macon; her daughters, Kimberly French (Russ) Wright of Macon, Kristy French (Benny) Graham of Bolingbroke and Stacy French (Ben) Bradshaw of Macon; her precious grandchildren, Lindsey Williams, Skylar Graham, Hayden Graham and Killian Wright; her brother, Wayne (Andi) Mayo, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, SC.
