Byron Lee Wainwright

Bryon, GA - Byron Lee Wainwright, 58, passed away on September 8, 2012. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, September 10, 2012 at Hilltop Baptist Church with the Rev. Robin Tedder officiating. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contribution be made to Hilltop Baptist Church, 4140 US Hwy 41 N, Byron, GA 31008. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2:00 to 3:00 at the church.

Mr. Wainwright was born in Macon to the late Maggie Louise Pope Wainwright and John Clinton Wainwright. He was disabled from Williams and Associates, where he worked as a carpenter. He had also worked for the Bibb County Board of Education. He was also a member of Hilltop Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the United Cherokee Indian Nation where he was given the tribal name of Cherokee Tracker. He never met a stranger and will be missed by many.

Mr. Wainwright is survived by his two sisters: Vicki Robinson of Macon and Sarah C. Richardson of Louvale, GA; numerous nieces and nephews.
