Carolyn Isbell Henderson

Carolyn Isbell Henderson, age 95, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022. Carolyn was born June 18, 1927 the daughter of the late Elizabeth Ragsdale Isbell and John Dean Isbell and was the widow of Glenn Herbert Henderson, Jr. Private graveside services will be held on Saturday in Riverside Cemetery with Rev. John Anderson officiating.

Mrs. Henderson attended Converse College and graduated from the University of South Carolina. She was a faithful member of First Presbyterian, active in the Junior League and the Garden Club and loved playing tennis, bridge and traveling.

Mrs. Henderson is survived by her children, John G. Henderson of Warner Robins, Carey H. Anderson (John) of Naples, FL and Judy H. Avent (Sandy) of Newnan, GA; grandchildren, Luke Anderson (Theresa), Paige Rothblum (Jeff), Caroline Avent, Cam Avent (Samantha), and John Avent; great-grandchildren, Clayton Anderson, Knox Anderson, Avery Rothblum, and Mills Avent.

The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to her devoted caregivers, Laila Bell, Wendy Calloway, Amelia Hansford, Valerie Harris and Sabrina Mays for all their love and care.
