Crawford Grandy Peace Jr.

Crawford G. Peace Jr., age 79, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. A Celebration of his Life will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 5, 2024 at Christ Church. Rev. Cynthia C. Knapp will officiate. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Next Step Recoveries Ministry, 4408 Houston Avenue, Macon, GA 31206.

Crawford was born in Henderson, North Carolina the son of the late Yvonne Nichols Peace and Crawford Grandy Peace, Sr. He was preceded in death by his son, Scott Boisseau Peace and siblings, Shelley Peace and Van Nichols Peace. Crawford was retired from Greer Wealth Advisors of Raymond James as a financial advisor. He was a member of Idle Hour Golf & Country Club, the Macon Civic Club, formerly on the Board of Directors of the Country Club of Petersburg, a member of the German Club and the Cotillion Club.

Crawford is survived by his wife, Barbara Lee Boisseau Peace of Macon; son, Crawford Grandy Peace, III; granddaughter, Gracie Marie Peace; siblings, Yvonne "Nonnie" Peace Dillehay (Barry), Courtney Peace Hagins (Harold), and Christopher Merrill Peace (Ginger); numerous nieces and nephews.
