Donald E Cole

MACON, GA – Donald Cole, 86, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Memorial services will be held at a later date at the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Charlestown, Indiana. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Ingleside Baptist Church, 834 Wimbish Road, Macon, GA 31210 or Hospice of Central Georgia, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210.

Mr. Cole was born in Louisville, Kentucky and attended Charlestown High School. He was a retired mechanic and a United States Navy Veteran, having served for three years. Mr. Cole was a member of Ingleside Baptist Church and was the son of the late Dudley and Mary Cole.

Mr. Cole is survived by his wife, Nora Cole of Macon; son, Joe Cole of Olney, Illinois; daughter, Cammie Cole of Macon; daughter, Nancy Barnes of Macon; son, James Cole of Carmel, Indiana; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Perrine.
