To the family of Mrs. Brice, 

We just learned of the passing of Mrs. Brice at a holiday party and wanted to express our sincere sympathies.  She was our neighbor fr a short time, but she touched our lives forever. 
Her grace and goodness will be remembered forever.  Mr and Mrs. Brice were the perfect "Southern Couple".  
THey were both wonderful neighbors-ous sympathies to all.

I would like to express my deep sympathy for Edith Brice's family, and particularly for her wonderful daughters, Janice, Cathy and Julie.  No one can know this mother and those daughters, without immediately seeing the unconditional love among them.  Edith, and her husband, Coleman, were exemplary Christians who clearly loved God and were instrumental in making my youth a much better one.  I can think of no one better than Edith Brice to pattern one's life after.  Christian faith tells me that she is in a better place, with her loved ones and friends present with God.  You will be in our prayers.

Mrs. Edith's life is a testimony of the love and grace of our Lord Jesus. She touched my life and the lives of Marcia and each of our children, loving on us like we were her own. Only heaven knows all the lives she blessed.The example she and Mr. Coleman lived for all to see is still vivid in my mind.

Dear Janice, Kathy, Julie and all the Family,
What can be said of your mama that hasn't been said 100+ times.  She and your daddy have been such dear friends of my mama and daddy for as long as I can remember.  If, for no other reason, I am very grateful and appreciative of that friendship.  But it didn't end there.  Many moons ago before churches had "youth directors/pastors", it was your mama along with mine and Doris June who took upon themselves the awesome responsibility of teaching, planning and caring for every young person in our church.  What a testimony!  
Every time I take a certain platter out of my cabinet I think of the times our family grilled steaks together - yes, it's the same platter mama used to put our steaks on from the grill.  And the times we camped in the pop-up campers, walking what seemed endlessly to cold showers come to my mind frequently - don't even ask me why.  There are so many fond memories I have that include your family.  
You have all been blessed greatly to have such a loving, God-fearing, mama and daddy.  I don't have to remind you; just want you to know I recognize there love for you, their family and friends,their church and certainly their love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
I will continue to think of you and pray for you throughout the coming days.  Should there be anything I can do, please know I am willing and available.

Edith was "Gran" to all of her grandchildren and countless adopted grandchildren.  I believe that "gran" was an abbreviation of "grand".  When you encountered Edith, you walked away feeling grander with the absolute conviction that you had been touched by someone who was grand indeed.

I once read that the" world takes its notions of God, most of all, from the people who say that they belong to God's family.  They read us a great deal more than they read the Bible.  They see us; they only hear about Jesus Christ".  Many of us in this world have read a great deal about the love of God through the life of Edith.  The love of God spilled over out of her life onto me and my family for almost thirty years.  Thanks be to God for Gran! "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

I am so sorry to hear the passing of Aunt Needie. Sending sympathy and love your way during this time. She was such a blessing and will be missed greatly. I know my Grandmama (Virginia) is so happy to see her! Love to you all!

My prayers are with the family of Mrs. Edith.  She was such a wonderful lady and her faithfullnes was an inspiration.

I will truly miss seeing Cousin Edith at Jeneane's on Wednesdays.  A very classy lady; she will be missed.  My condolences to all her family.

Edith is an inspiration to all who had the opportunity to cross her path.  Her light comes from her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  She was comforting to all who knew her, always uplifting, always kind and considerate of others.  Her love of  her dear husband, Coleman, her daughters, and her grandchildren is Christlike and enduring to them and to others.  Edith is at peace with Coleman and for that we can be happy and celebrate her wonderful life on earth.  As members of her Sunday School class led by Al Andrews, no one could have witnessed to us more effectively than the life unfolded before us in the life of Edith Brice.  We cherish her knowledge of the Bible, her smile, her touch in a hug, her prayers, and her phone calls as she continuously gave of herself to others.  We pray for her daughters and grandchildren, that they may continue to receive her love and care through her Lord and our heavenly Father.
