

Carlos Edith Brice, 82, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 23, 2010 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2P.M. Saturday at Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Lee Shepherd will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street and suggests that memorial contributions be made to Sav-a-Life Foundation, 112 Pierce Avenue, Macon 31204.
Mrs. Brice was preceded in death in 2005 by her husband of fifty-four years, Coleman J. Brice. She was the daughter of the late Felton and Bessie Hunnicutt Ward and was a graduate of Miller High School. Mrs. Brice was a loving homemaker and a member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church where she treasured and loved her church family, her church and many very dear friends . She was the sister of the late Virginia (Ross) Amason of Macon. Mrs. Brice was an avid Braves Fan and enjoyed attending every game she could.
Survivors include her daughters, Janice Keene of Macon, Kathy (Randy) Bolden of Forsyth and Julie (Wayne) Mullis of King, NC; five beloved grandchildren, Chuck (Jennifer) Bolden, Stephanie (Jay) Watson, Charles (Candace) Keene, Jonathan Keene and Jennifer (Jason) Little, and eight great grandchildren whom she loved truly.
