Eleanor Jan White

Eleanor Jan White, 73, passed away Friday, January 17, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue. Burial will be at 3:00 PM in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Doerun, Georgia. Rev. Mark Watkins will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6 until 8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. White was born in Dawson, Georgia the daughter of the late Nettie Lee Holt Willis and Victor Vinson Willis. She was a homemaker and of the Christian Faith. Mrs. White was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Mrs. White is survived by her children, Helen Leigh Shelton, Melanie Anne Watkins, William Gordon Ergle, Jr., and Jennifer Louise Moore; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Frances Foster, and Vicky Lynn Spradley.
