Elizabeth Chance Nabers

MACON – Elizabeth Chance Nabers, 79, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Ben Taylor will officiate. The family will meet friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Milner Baptist Church, P. O. Box 100, Milner, GA 30257.

Mrs. Nabers, wife of the late Maurice L. Nabers, was born in Cochran the daughter of the late Joshua and Amanda Howell Chance. She was a devoted homemaker and was purchasing agent with the Bibb County Board of Education retiring after twenty-six years. Mrs. Nabers was a former member of First Baptist Church, Macon and was presently a member of Milner Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Traci Nabers (Gino) Gianfrancesco of Ridgeland, MS and Mandi Nabers Robertson of Atlanta; three grandchildren, Dale Adams, Casey Adams and Evelyn Robertson; two great grandchildren, Parker Adams and Harrison Adams; her sister, Myrtice Raffield.
