Evelyn W. Barrow, 97, died on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father John Wright officiating. A Rosary will be said on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Bass Road.
Evelyn was born in Augusta, Georgia to the late Felix W. and Willie Pearl Ussery Woodward. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Alfred Barrow. Evelyn was a graduate of Mt. DeSales High School class of 1940. She was retired as the Director of Procurement for the Air Force Reserve Command. Evelyn was a member of Beta Sigma Phi for over fifty years and was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sister, Felicia Seguin of Macon, nephews, John (Linda) Seguin of Roswell, GA, David (Glynda) Barrow of Hot Springs, AR, great nieces, Catherine Seguin of Tampa, FL and Jayne (Carl) Marcinkowski of Morrisville, PA.
