A graveside service for Mrs. Fountain will be held Monday, September 18, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 7070 Houston Road, Macon, GA 31216. Rev. Brian Moore will offiicate. The famiy will greet friends following the service at the graveside.
Mrs. Fountain was born in Telfair County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mildred Brown McCarty and James Freeman McCarty and she was the widow of Robert H. Fountain. She was formerly employed by Mercer University, Cherokee Brick & Tile and then retired from the Georgia Farm Bureau.
Mrs. Fountain is survived by her children, Robert "Bob" H. Fountain of Forsyth and Carol F. Dorsey of Alpharetta; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
