Helen Turner Love, 96, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 peacefully at Pine Pointe Hospice. Funeral Services will be held at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street, on Saturday, April 21, at 4 p.m. with Dr. Richard Kremer officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Middle Georgia Memory Gardens, Joycliff Road, Macon. Contributions may be made to Vineville Baptist Church, 2591 Vineville Avenue, Macon, GA 31204.
Helen was a member of Vineville Baptist Church, The Friendship Sunday School Class, and XYZ for Seniors. She was a former member of Cross Keys Baptist Church and Shurlington Baptist Church.
Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Julian Byron Love; brothers, John Turner, Earnest Turner and Jack Turner; sisters, Carolyn Anderson and Frances Turner.
She is survived by daughter, Nancy Love Gandy (Marcus) of Macon, sons, Kenneth Love (Julie) of Thomaston, Douglas Love (Joyce) of Huntsville, AL.; grandchildren, Brian Utley (Jennifer), Kimberly Johnson, Betsy Stewart, Suzy Burgess (Claude), Tommy Love, Caleb Love, Mollie Love, Jackson Love, and Rosie Love; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
