

MACON – Henry “PaPa” Lamar Graham, 70, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services and a celebration of his life will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Brad Marchman will officiate. The family will meet friends from 2 p.m. to service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Graham, son of the late Henry and Fannie Andrews Graham, was a lifelong resident of Macon and was the brother of the late Gary Graham. He served with the National Guard and was an electrician with Georgia Kaolin. Mr. Graham was a member of Lawrence Drive Baptist Church and was a member of Green Acre Golf Club. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and a tenacious Georgia Bull Dog fan. A devoted husband, father and “PaPa,” he was happiest spending time with the family he adored.
His memory will be cherished by those he loved the most, his wife, Frances R. Graham of Macon; his daughters and special son-in-law, Sonja and Shawn Purdee of Macon and Debra and Craig Plaster of Greensboro, NC; six beloved grandchildren, Brannen Purdee, Nicholas Purdee, both of Macon, Brianna Plaster, Connor Plaster, Amanda Plaster and Morgan Plaster, all of Greensboro, NC.
