

MACON – Henry Wilson Miller, 74, passed away Monday, April 18, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Rev. Jeff Powell will officiate. The family will greet friends from 5 until 7 PM Wednesday at the funeral home and requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Gideons International, P O Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214.
Mr. Miller was born in Sparta, Georgia and had lived in Macon for most of his life. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base as chief of electronics. Mr. Miller was a United States Air Force veteran and was a member of Unity Baptist Church. He was a member of Perry Country Club and was an avid golfer, fisherman and loved to work in his yard. He adored his precious wife, children and grandchildren. Mr. Miller was the son of the late J. W. and Sally Lou Miller.
Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of 54 years, Janie Norris Miller of Macon; daughters, Cindy (Johnnie) Powell of Macon, Angie (Tom) Gibbons of Macon; grandchildren, Madison Stokes and Sarah Kathryn Stokes; brother, Stephen Miller of Milledgeville; several nieces & nephews.
