Very sorry to hear of Herbie's passing. We would car pool going to vocational school in Warner Robins. Lots of fond memories, He will be missed!

My apologies for the previous posting. At first I thought it was the elder Herbert Bass who passed on. I am so sorry that I misread the obituary. The person who passed on was Herbert Bass' son.  To lose a child is a sad thing to happen regardless of age.  I know many who've had to deal with this pain.    I knew Herbert Sr and my mother grew up with him. They are good people.  My condolences to the Bass family.

Mr. Bass was a good man. My mother, Mary Outler Turner, grew up with the Bass family. I used to see him all the time at Macon Feed and Seed where I worked. He will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Herbie's passing. While I haven't been part of his life for many years, I still have fond childhood memories of the times we had together on your farm and at the farmers market. 

I hope that you will find comfort in the words found in Lamentations 3:31-33
" For no one is cast off by the lord forever. Though he brings brief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love.  For he does not willingly bring affliction or grief to anyone."

My thoughts are with you both during this time of deep bereavement.

I was saddened to learn of Herbie's passing. I'll be lifting your family in prayer in this time of sorrow.

So sorry to hear about this.  Herby was loved very much by our family when we were growing up.  My heart goes out to his family.  I can not begin to express my sorrow for each of you.

I'm holding  family and friends of Herb in my prayers and thoughts. My heart is hurting with each of you.  Words cannot express the sorrow I feel with you and for you. May God wrap each person who's hurting in His loving arms, cover them with comfort, strength, and His unwavering love.
