Jack E. Lanier

Byron, GA – Jack E. Lanier, 74, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2011. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in Glen Haven Cemetery with Rev. Zeke DeLa Fuente officiating. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Ave. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Bob and Lottie Spencer, Christians In Action, c/o Betty Lanier, 45 Ventura Drive, Byron, GA 31008.

Mr. Lanier was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Sidney Lanier and Emma Flowers Brookins. He was a Parts and Inventory Manager for Wheeler Machine and Parts Company. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He loved fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his loving wife, Betty D. Lanier of Byron; a daughter, Arlesia (George) Beane of Fredericksburg, VA; and a son, Stacey D. Lanier of Byron.
